Let us tell you about our history
Living Hope was formed in 1942 and chartered with the United Pentecostal Church organization in 1946. Find out more about the UPCI here.
Services were originally held in Prichard, Alabama. The church moved to its current location in Saraland in 1980 with one building and a second building was added in 1994. Each move and expansion led to further growth within the church.
Today the church has grown and is involved in missions both in the Gulf Coast and abroad. In November 2016 Matthew & Rebecca Johnson were elected to lead the congregation. Their vision is for Living Hope to be a multicultural church that reaches the entire Gulf Coast region with a special emphasis on developing future leaders.
The mission statement of the church:
Living Hope is a place where anyone can come to connect with God and fellow believers, grow in their faith and relationships, and serve God and our community.
Hope Happens Here
I Peter 1:3 says:
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
We believe that Living Hope is for everyone in the Gulf Coast region! Service schedule on Sunday is 10am Sunday School and 11am Worship service. Our Wednesday evening service begins at 7pm.
